The Plat Du Jour

Dinner is available most nights excluding Sunday (unless for a special event) and is normally served between 7.30pm & 8.00pm, so there is plenty of time for an aperitif . The home cooked menu of the day is prepared from locally produced high quality ingredients. It will be seasonally sensitive British home cooked fare, with influences from Europe and around the world. The menu of the day, as the name suggests, is a set option, so you will need to let us know in advance if you wish to dine.

Please tell us when you book what you like or dislike, or more importantly, cannot or will not eat, so we can accommodate everyone. There will be a proper veggie alternative everyday, not just a roast with no meat or gravy! You will be offered the menu to peruse in advance, if it doesn’t take your fancy one day, we are sure it will the next.

A three course meal is available most weeknights, and at weekends, indulge yourself in a four course meal and share the highlights of your day.

We will happily provide meals for your little ones. Just let us know what and when and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Slow Roasted & Pressed Belly of Cornish Pork

Belly of Local Cornish Pork Slow Roasted with Garlic, Rosemary & Healey Classic Cyder.  Pressed into Bars, Served with Crushed New Potatoes, Steamed Vegetables & Cyder Reduction Jus

Creamy Rhubarb Fool

 Individual Rhubarb Fool Served with Whipped Cream and Cinnamon Glazed wafers

Served with a Mint Chocolate

The Dinner Tariff

We try to be as flexible with evening meals as possible, and we will happily meet your needs by preparing anything from a lavish four course candle lit dinner to a light evening snack.   

A Two Course Supper from £20 per person, a Three Course Meal is priced from £25 per person, and a Four Course Dinner can be enjoyed from £32 and upwards. 

Please do confirm the price of dinner on the day, as the price may alter depending on the type of high quality fresh local ingredients used for the menu of that day.
